Stormy K.

When I was in college, my great-great uncle moved into a nursing home at the age of 99.  Working nights at a factory, I'd visit him for an hour or two after every shift, cherishing our time together and his stories.  Post-college, I explored various artsy roles before embracing life as a stay-at-home mom, deeply enjoying every moment with my children. The most rewarding work role was caring for a friend with ALS, which, after her move, allowed me more time at home.  I've focused on nurturing my family, preparing healthy meals, and being present for them. Recently, I joined a community group, aiming to support others in need.  In my leisure, I relish family time, bike rides, gluten-free cooking and baking, gardening, participating in a book club, and volunteering.

Hello! I'm Grace.  I have lived in Ohio my entire life and come from a very large family.  I have worked in healthcare for over 40 years.  During that time, there have been many opporutnities to help in some way with the care of parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, sibilings and friends.  I have learned so much from those times.  Today, I get great satisfaction with my experience here at Continue To Bloom.  Out of the blue,  I came in contact with a beautiful person who introduced me to this wonderful business.  I thank God that he placed us in the same place at the same time.  I love what I do here!

Even as a young woman, I loved spending time with the older men and women in my neighborhood and at church. This has continued throughout my life with people many years my senior being some of my best friends.  I loved quilting and working on service projects with them at church and they helped me grow in my faith through service to others.

Today, whether sharing a homecooked meal or a bouquet from my garden with a shut-in or just spending time together, my senior friends bring me much joy.  It is only natural then that serving seniors in our community brings great purpose and satisfaction to my life as I strive to make life a little easier for them. Hi, my name is Jenn!  I am a registered nurse with a lifelong passion for caring for and empowering others.  My journey began in high school, where I worked as an elderly companion - an experience that shaped my deep respect for seniors and the value of compassionate, patient care.  I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked in the hospital setting before choosing to step away from full-time practice to focus on raising my family.  Throughout that time, I remained committed to nursing by keeping my license active and continuing to servce my community.  I currently work as a substitute school nurse and am pursing my Master's degree in Nursing Education.  I am a proud mother of four and hapily married.  Family and faith are my highest priorities.  I am an active parishioner in my church, and am passionate about health, exercise, and lifelong learning.  I also love spending time with my two dogs and believe that kindness, compassion, and service are at the heart of meaningful work.

Senior Concierge

Melissa W.

Hi!  I spent 23 years as a NICU nurse, caring for fragile newborns and supporting families during some of the most emotional moments of their lives. Those years taught me that nursing is about more than medical care—it’s about compassion, presence, and building trust.

I later stepped away from bedside nursing to care for my parents, an experience that gave me a deeper understanding of the challenges families face when caring for loved ones. This time strengthened my perspective and continues to influence how I support others.

I am married and the proud mother of four amazing sons who all play sports. Being a wife and mom has taught me the importance of teamwork, balance, and resilience.

I’m looking forward to find great fulfillment in my work at Continue To Bloom,  where I am grateful to use my experience to support individuals and families with care and encouragement.
